Melanie Roman White, B.A. Psychology, ABA Consultant, ABA Graduate Certificate, Penn State University
Melanie, our Admissions Director, attended Kean University in Elizabeth, NJ where she obtained a BA in Psychology. With seven years of experience in autistic populations, Melanie also holds a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Penn State University Melanie has worked as Behavior Modification Consultant for the Hunterdon Developmental Center of New Jersey managing programs for an adult autistic population. Melanie also provided 1:1 home based ABA services under the supervision of a Lovaas Institute Consultant.
Aileen Carr, M.S. Sp. Ed., BCBA
Aileen received a Bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Florham Park, NJ. Later she attended The College of St. Elizabeth where she obtained her teaching certificate and a Master of Science Special Education. Aileen is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has over 7 years of experience in the principals of ABA. .
Robin Mammone, M.S. Sp. Ed., BCBA
Robin Mammone attended Binghamton University where she obtained a B.S. in Psychology. She also attended Hofstra University where she obtained a Master of Science Special Education. She received her BCBA certification from the Florida Institute of Technology. She has over 15 years of experience in the principals of ABA. She has taught as a Special Education teacher and with children with autism spectrum disorders. She has also been a Lead Behaviorist for the Bloomfield, NJ School District.
Christen Russell, MS, BCBA
Christen, our Clinical Director, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Her clinical experience consists of providing services in the home, school/academic, community, vocational and residential setting. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults (ranging from 6 months old - 65 years old) with autism, ADHD, bipolar disorder, ODD, OCD, FAS, anxiety, developmental and physical delays. Christen has also been providing staff and parent training for nine years. She is a professional member of Autism NJ, the Association for Professional Behavior Analysts, NJABA, and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
Christen has her Master's of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. With an understanding of procedures in early child development, for developmentally and functionally delayed and autism and working in the field for over 16 years, Christen provides a broad spectrum of clinical expertise.
Christen was published on the Special Education Advisor. Her article, Assessing the Efficacy of Sensory Diets on Latent Responding and the Frequency of Inappropriate Behaviors, discusses the implementation, effects, and need for further research about sensory integration.
