BEHAVIOR CONSULTATION AND FULL-INCLUSION SERVICES FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS
In recent years extraordinary progress has been made toward including students with learning disabilities in public schools and the general curriculum. In inclusive settings, students with disabilities often show improvement in standardized test scores, acquire previously undeveloped social and communication skills, achieve more IEP goals, and are better prepared for post-school experiences.
Frequently however, educators are faced with problem behaviors that threaten a child's ability to receive an appropriate education in the least restrictive placement possible. Our Behavior Analysts serve as an important resource in meeting the unique needs of a particular child within the classroom system. We strive to balance the needs of the student with the integrity of the classroom, assuring that the classroom’s learning environment is accessible to everyone.
