You’ve come to the right place! The Uncommon Thread (TUT) is a non-profit ABA provider that has been advancing the lives of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) since 2007.
Our mission is to help each child reach their greatest potential. TUT delivers ABA therapy and services in many therapeutic settings that accommodate all levels of children on the spectrum.
ASD affects children in different ways and with varying levels of severity. At TUT, we provide the environment and the expertise that match each child’s degree and needs. TUT offers opportunities to transition into more advanced environments and therapies such as classroom settings and general education settings with support. These opportunities ensure that each child makes continual progress and attains a higher level of functioning.
TUT is not a destination but rather a pathway to a more independent life.
Our Team at TUT
As we often say at The Uncommon Thread, “It takes a village to ensure the greatest outcome of a child diagnosed with autism”. The leadership, clinical team and administrative staff work tirelessly together in the pursuit of one goal; that every child in our care reach their fullest potential. At TUT, we support each other as staunchly as we do the children and families we serve. The progress and ultimate success of each child depends on it.
It’s a Collaborative Effort at TUT
Join us and become part of our village! A child with autism needs the collaboration of physicians, parents, family, school districts and a strong ABA provider. The team at TUT is a village unto itself and everyone plays a part in the care of every child. ABA programs are developed and directly overseen by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and are implemented by our Trained Behavior Technicians and ABA Therapists. Our BCBAs have the benefit of working with TUT’s Clinical Directors and Case Managers who provide them with extensive clinical support and guidance. As a result of our collaborative effort, we experience amazing successes every day.
