The culture at TUT is one of support, dedication, celebration and fun. We couldn’t do our jobs as well as we do if not for “Our Way of Life” at TUT. Did we mention that we love children? Sorry but you wouldn’t be seeing any smiling faces of our kiddos – we’re protecting them here and in “real life”!
Here’s just a few things former and current staff have posted about our culture:
“Being a part of The Uncommon Thread has been enriching and inspiring. The support, dedication, and celebration are evident in every aspect. I’m grateful for the recognition of hard work and dedication, motivating me to contribute even more to our shared goals. As an In-Home ABA Therapist, I’ve seen TUT’s commitment to ethical practices and passion for making a positive impact. It’s more than a workplace; it’s a community that values its people. TUT has changed the long-term plans for my future, inspiring me to pursue a path to become a BCBA. TUT’s unparalleled dedication to providing services to children and parents, coupled with a people-first approach, makes it a truly special place to work. In short, being a part of The Uncommon Thread isn’t just a job; it’s a rewarding journey of personal and professional growth. I’m grateful to contribute to the success of TUT and looking forward to many more fulfilling experiences.” ~ In-Home ABA Therapist
“I’m so grateful to be part of a company that acknowledges and appreciates the hard work and dedication that goes into the company’s and client’s success. Thank you so much for the bonus, but more importantly for helping me grow as a BCBA. The mentors and the teams I have worked with, and currently work with, are exceptional and sustain my enthusiasm in field. TUT is truly a special company. With much appreciation and gratitude.” ~ BCBA
“The Uncommon Thread is centered on the children, striving for best practices at all times. The culture is one of support, collaboration, and progress. I am happy to say I’ve found an organization who shares my values and work ethic” ~ BCBA
“The staff and leadership of The Uncommon Thread is exceptional and highly dedicated to the children and families they serve. All emphasis is on advancing the lives and improving the outcomes of children with autism – and the striking results speak for themselves” ~ Manager of Outreach
“I am proud to work for an organization that actively pursues compassion, excellence, and innovation within the field of ABA therapy” ~ In-Home ABA Therapis“The Uncommon Thread stays up to date on the most current principles and practices of ABA, allowing each child to reach their fullest potential. It is so nice to work for an organization who is passionate, ethical and treats their employees with the upmost respect and appreciation” ~ ABA Therapist
“The Uncommon Thread is ethical and knowledgeable in everything they do. They deliver exceptional ABA services and are dedicated to helping the children they serve reach their fullest potential. Cooperative and supportive working environment with leadership available to help at any time. Ongoing professional development provided. The Uncommon Thread is an extremely professional agency, and it is truly a pleasure working for them” ~ BCBA
“Being an intern for several summers at TUT inspired me and changed the course of my life. When I first started, I was a Criminal Justice major at West Chester University. The passion and dedication I witnessed from staff and the amazing progress made by the children as a result, inspired me to change my major to special needs/early education. I too became passionate about working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. The Uncommon Thread has changed the long term plans for my future as I now pursue the path to become a BCBA. I am grateful” ~ TUT Intern
“The Uncommon Thread is unparalleled to the other companies I have worked for in the past. There are so many systems in place that drive the end goal of providing services to the children and parents that come in seeking behavioral and developmental assistance. Many ABA companies I have worked for in the past say they prioritize the children and the behavior technicians, but ultimately turn out to be a business first, and then the people come second. This organization really is a people place first, then a business second. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it.” ~In Center ABA Therapist
“I have had the pleasure of working for The Uncommon Thread for 2.5 years now, and I can confidently say that it is one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional life. The company’s commitment to improving the lives of individuals with autism is truly inspiring. TUT also places a high value on professional development and growth. There are ample opportunities for continuing education, training, and career advancement. This has allowed me to grow personally and professionally, and I am part of a team that truly cares about my success. It’s clear that the company values its employees and is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of its clients. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to make a difference in the lives of others.” – ABA Therapist
