TUT Creates New Position to Further Enhance Outcomes of Children We Serve.
Congratulations to MaryBeth Dougherty who has earned the title of Director of Quality Management! TUT’s strategic vision considers the increasing prevalence of autism and the growing need for ABA services. As we look to the future, TUT remains committed to a child-centered approach that adheres to and implements ABA best practices that maximize success. Towards that end, TUT has created the position of Director of Quality Management and MaryBeth Dougherty has accepted this role. This new position has many facets. It will advance training that considers the needs of new and existing clinical staff; implement a barrier management system that removes obstacles impeding a child’s progress; and manage a validation system that confirms rigorous ABA practices and identifies professional development needs for clinical staff. Finally, it will leverage effective clinical practice and retool inefficient practice to ensure the best outcomes for the children and families we serve.
MaryBeth Dougherty has been with TUT since 2007 and has excelled in several roles over the years – most recently in Case Management. As a Case Manager, she worked closely with our families and clinical staff, learning all facets of clinical practice and became intimate with the challenges that our children, families, therapists, and BCBAs face on a daily basis. This perspective and experience across administrative and clinical function uniquely qualify her for this position. MaryBeth will no doubt make a positive impact on staff and children alike in her new position as Director of Quality Management.
